MUSIC EVERYDAY

Kagagas

I am driving on the highway
Heading for a place
A place I used to know

And I, I’ve been gone for too long
Digging for a gold mine
No easy way to find

It’s not a place where you just reside
You can feel it inside your flesh and bones
It’s the place where you feel all the love
And never costs you anything at all

No matter where you are, no matter how far
I bet you say, there’s no place like where you belong
This is the place I was born, I was raised
This is the place I wanna spend the rest of my life

I remember all the taste
The chips and cakes my mama used to make
And when every time I fell
My daddy lend his hand  let me on my feet again

I still can recall the sound of birds and bugs

They were singing all morning
Play mates all around the corner
Hide and seek

We never got enough of laughing

It’s not a place where you just reside
You can feel it inside your flesh and bones
It’s the place where you feel all the love
And never costs you anything at all
